Future NASA Astronauts Speak with the Leadership

After two years of training, they could be assigned to missions that involve performing research aboard the International Space Station, launching from American soil on spacecraft built by commercial companies, as well as deep space missions to destinations including the Moon on NASA’s Orion spacecraft and Space Launch System rocket.
2021 Astronaut Candidates
The term astronaut candidate refers to individuals who have been selected by NASA as candidates for the NASA astronaut corps and are currently undergoing a candidacy training program at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
Jessica Wittner
Jessica Wittner was selected by NASA to join the 2021 Astronaut Candidate Class. She reported for duty in January 2022.
