Eclipse’s Jakarta EE gains momentum
Jakarta EE, the Eclipse Foundation’s implementation of enterprise Java, is gathering steam, with nearly half of respondents to a recent Eclipse survey indicating they have either migrated to Jakarta or were planning to do so within two years.More than 48% of respondents already had moved to the platform, which is the successor to Java EE (Enterprise Edition), or planned to do so within six months to two years, Eclipse noted in its 2021 Jakarta EE Developer Survey Report, released September 13.
